Bio
Born in 1984 in Chesterfield, UK, Grace Hughes now lives and works in the small village of Cynwyd in rural North Wales, UK. Her work is held in national and international collections.
Working primarily in acrylics and ink, Hughes’ work is heavily influenced by the natural world and our relationship with it. Inspired to paint from a young age by the rugged Cornish coastline of family holidays as a teenager, her current work regularly features the landscape of North Wales.
Hughes’ work addresses the power, beauty and vulnerability of the natural world, our place within it and our changing relationship with it.
